Document Abstract
Due to the increase in the population and advancements in new technologies, the world needs more and more portable water for day-to-day use. This high demand for drinking water has led to the consideration of other possible ways to resolve the water scarcity. Most places have water that is of no use for drinking purposes and major issues include wastewater through industries, municipal wastewater, and daily household wastewater. The enzymes are gaining much more interest now than when they were first discovered, being used for curd, bread, and wine production, but today we know much more about the enzymes so we use them in various ways. The enzymes from microorganisms, plants, and animals are first extracted and then utilized in the process of water reclamation and reuse. The advanced biotechnological process improves and enhances the enzyme ability. Enzyme immobilization and nanotubing increase the efficiency and efficacy of wastewater treatment.
